I was asked to participate in two tributes to Adam, an amazingly talented mentor and friend who died too soon of Covid in April 2020.
I covered one of his compositions, Fountains of Wayne's "Sick Day," with my band the Still Out; all proceeds will be donated to Musicares.
I also talked about how much of an inspiration he was in another tribute to him, organized by actress Rachael Bloom. I'm currently working on a cover of "A Road Song" with my other band, Modern Secrets. The Still Out's dreamy cover of Sick Day is out now on all
digital platforms and the video that aired in the tribute can be
seen here as well!
